The Nile Family’s New Venture Begins!

After 18 years of serving the Richmond and surrounding communities as a gluten-free Ethiopian restaurant, Nile is moving into a new and expanded service to continue its relationship with its regular guests from all areas, as well as those that discovered us over the years and became regulars.

Our diners are our guests who just happened to pay for their meals. We have forged and bonded with quite a lot of you we consider our family members.

Couples who came on their first date night to dine at Nile have been married with kids now. We have catered thier rehearsal dinners, and weddings. Their kids have become our guests. Some already teenagers.

It always gives us great pleasure to see such connections - watching babies coming in strollers, as toddlers and as teenagers. Our hearts are filled with gratitude.

We have bittersweet feelings as we transition into this new business format.

Bitter, because we loved the restaurant business, enjoyed our interaction with our guests over these 18 years and making this decision was not easy.

Sweet, because we are continuing to serve the community in a different, but convenient manner making their favorite meals available to enjoy at home.
